The leader of the muslim judicial council called for muslims to practice social distancing during the celebration considering the dangers of covid 19 spreading.

For Eid to begin the new moon must be sighted. A crescent moon must be sighted for Ramadan to end after 29 days, otherwise it continues for another 24 hours.
