Endemic animals captured on camera when we visited Malagufuk village, Makbon District, Sorong Regency, West Papua (February 2020):

1. Northern Cassowary (Casuarius Unappendiculatus), at any time enter the area of the resident's village to look for leftovers

2. Papuan Hornbill (Rhyticeros plicatus), flying at any time and perched on a tree branch around the village


3. Thylogale Brunii / Dusky Pademelon (small kangaroo), found in the forest while traveling to the bird of paradise observation site

4. Lesser bird-of-paradise (Small Yellow Bird of Paradise), can be seen at a location within 3 kilometers of the village at certain hours (6-8 am or 3-5 pm)
