Worker gets hand stuck in noodle making machine
This is the gruesome moment a young worker whose hand was stuck in a noodle making machine was rescued.
The factory owner contacted the emergency serviced immediately after they heard their 16-year-old worker screaming in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.
They rushed to the food production plant and found the teenager Thanakit Panklang in pain with his hand stuck in the noodle slicer.
Footage shows the rescuers using a hammer to smash open the grinder and remove the boy's hand.
The young lad's two fingers were already grounded into a pulp by the machine before he was able to turn it off.
Thanakit blamed himself for the nasty accident, saying he was not concentrating while doing his job.
He said: "I was working as usual, but while I was putting through the dough I was distracted and also inserted my hand into the blades.''
The boy was given first aid by the rescue team before they rushed him to the nearest hospital.
