This is the bizarre moment a passenger hitched a ride - by clinging onto pipes on the back of a truck.

The man was seen clinging on in the uncomfortable position as the lorry travelled along a roar in Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, on July 25.

He was wearing a black jacket and no shoes while resting face down on the sloping iron pipes.

While in the back of the truck there were several workers in orange high-vis jackets taking up all the space.

Onlooker Yunanda Eka Paradytha, who was crossing the road when he saw the man, said: ''We don’t need to worry about the coronavirus when he we have people being as reckless as this.

''I fear for our population. Thankfully, it’s not often I see something this dangerous on trucks.''
