This pretty policewoman does not need a baton - she can stop traffic with her girl-next-door good lucks.

Police Captain Patcharamon Thongnam, of Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand, caught the eyes of many passing motorists while performing her duties.

Footage shows the angelic deputy police inspector on duty, assisting riders and reminding them to always wear helmets while on the road.

Captain Patcharamon, a graduate of the Royal Police Cadet Academy Class 73, serves as a police officer and has been in the force for 13 years.

She said that on weekday mornings and evenings, she operates a tram to transport pupils. After that, she takes up traffic control duties outside a local school.

Despite the demanding nature of her role, Captain Patcharamon manages to strike a balance between professionalism and a warm, approachable presence on the streets.

Onlookers were quick to comment on the beauty of the emergency worker.

One local jokingly said: 'I love the police. I would entrust myself - and my heart - to you like this.'

Another passerby added: 'Please arrest me. Any charges, I'll accept them.'

Captain Patcharamon expressed her gratitude to locals for their kind words and appreciation of her appearance, adding that some even asked to take photos with her.

She said: 'It's an honour to serve the community. If I can also bring a little positivity to people's day, then that makes me happy.'

The police officer said she remains focused on her duties and is happy to be of service to the public.
