Indian rescuers continue effort to save four-year-old who fell down 200ft borehole
Rescuers in central India continued today (November 7th) trying to reach a four-year-old boy who fell down a 200ft borehole.
The child, identified as Prahlad, fell into the hole in Satpura village in Madhya Pradesh on the morning of November 4th. He got stuck 59 feet below ground.
Teams from the National Disaster Rescue Force (NDRF), State Disaster Rescue Force (SDRF), Indian Army and local police are assisting with the rescue which has been underway since Wednesday evening (November 4th).
The rescuers are digging a long tunnel and they hope to reach the child by the end of the day.
