Both the bride and the bride groom was from an agricultural family. So they choose to use bullock cart as their mode of transport instead of cars. Speaking about this the bridge groom said "we just thought to raise an awareness on Kangeyam bulls (the indigenous bull variety of that particular area.) And also about the agriculture so we just decided to travel in bullock cart instead of cars. Using Bullock cart as a means of transport has vanished away from Tamilnadu nearly four decades ago
