Ambulances rush carrying COVID cases as Christmas decorations take place at hospitals to boost morale

Christmas decorations at hospitals to boost the morale of doctors, paramedics and patients as ambulances keep rushing to carry coronavirus cases in critical condition. Ambulances stop to unload COVID patients right next to a large 10-meter-high Christmas tree which is placed in "AHEPA" University General Hospital, in an attempt to give a note of optimism to the on-duty hospital. Crews of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, in the morning of Saturday, December 5, have entered the courtyard of the hospital and start to decorate a large Christmas tree in the context of the announcements of Mayor Konstantinos Zervas for decoration in all hospitals of the city that give daily battle with the coronavirus. The city of Thessaloniki records the most cases daily in all over Greece for over a month now. In addition to the tree, lanterns will be placed on the facade of the building in a collective effort to give "color" to the gray that "covered" virus in Thessaloniki.
