A group of youngsters was spotted thrashing a traffic sub-inspector for issuing a ticket for entering the no-entry zone in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 20. The incident took place in Moti Nagar in the Sagar district.

Visuals show a group of youngsters thrashing a cop in broad daylight. Following this, several other motorists join them and attack the official, while he continuously attempts to retaliate.

However, he escapes and races into a shop nearby, while they flee the region. Furthermore, a team of police officials reach the spot and begin their investigation. They find a knife on the ground and rush the traffic sub-inspector to a hospital to provide him immediate medical attention.

A traffic sub-inspector, identified as Dharmendra Singh Thakur, was thrashed by a group of youngsters after he issued them a ticket for entering the no-entry zone. He was posted at the Khurai overbridge due to a traffic jam.

A tractor arriving from Bhagwan Ganj drove through the no-entry zone, following which the sub-inspector obstructed their way and issued them a ticket for violating the rules. Enraged by the incident, they attacked the cop and thrashed him. The policeman sustained multiple injuries on his back and face.

A case has been registered against the accused in the Motinagar Police Station. The authorities have arrested one person, while the search for the rest is still ongoing.
