A yoga instructor in Tamil Nadu, southern India, was spotted pulling a car while in a handstand to support an election candidate.

The instructor named Chatrapathy is seen switching between a handstand and a crab walk while pulling a car along a road.

Chatrapathy used this unique method to raise support for SP Velumani, a politician in Tamil Nadu.

The yoga instructor managed to pull the car for about 800 metres with a chain tied to his waist.

This footage was filmed on March 23.

During election times political candidates adopt unique ways to woo their voters , but in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore a yoga instructor named Chatrapathy adopted a unique way to support his favorite candidate by pulling a Maruti Suzuki also 800 car by walking upside down to campaign for All india Anna Dravida munnetra ( AIADMK) candidate SP Velumani in RS Puram . He did this campaign on 23rd March . Tamil Nadu is to vote on 7th April for state assembly elections .
Chatrapathy says he did this not to only campaign for candidate but also to aware about yoga and its benefits .
