With the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the death toll has risen in the region. The district recorded 36 deaths on Friday, 28 deaths on Thursday, and 31 deaths on Wednesday. Moreover, the authorities cremated 95 people following the COVID-19 protocols in the last three days.
