A group of young laborers set up a quarantine center outside their village in central India's Madhya Pradesh. Visuals shot on May 1 feature the incident on the outskirts of the Khamkheda village, located in the Sagar district.

Visuals feature the laborers resting on a cloth sheet laid on the ground. They lie in the open and spend their time browsing on their cell phones. Containers of food and pots full of water remain kept near their head while they nap under the sun.

The laborers went to work in Rajasthan but came back home due to the pandemic-induced curfew. Upon reaching, they did not enter their village and instead decided to stay in quarantine on the outskirts for 14 days from April 24.

The second wave of the COVID-19 has affected most regions of the country. In the light of that, people belonging to remote areas are also becoming aware of the seriousness of the situation and are adhering to all pandemic norms to prevent the spread of the virus.
