The police officials came up with the idea of putting the COVID-19 curfew violators in ambulances with fake COVID-19 patients in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 8. The incident took place in Mandla.

Visuals feature the police officials dressed in personal protective equipment (PPE) kits chasing the COVID-19 curfew violators amidst the streets. They catch the violators and question them about their whereabouts. Upon receiving a dissatisfactory answer, they grab the violator and put them in an ambulance where an official disguised as a COVID-19 patient rests. Following this, the locals cry out and assure the cops that they won't disobey the curfew.

The police officials disguised one of their own as a COVID-19 patient and placed him inside an ambulance. Later, they put the COVID-19 curfew violators inside the ambulance upon finding that they were out on the roads for no good reason.

The incident instilled the importance of the curfew in the minds of the locals. Given the worsening condition of the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, the police have left no stone unturned to make the citizens follow the guidelines and prevent the spread of the virus.
