Kind worker saves kitten trapped under drainage
This is the heartwarming moment a kind worker saved a kitten trapped under a drain.
Honey Liza Jovellano was with colleagues when they heard a moggie crying from under the sewers in Antipolo City, the Philippines on February 13.
One of her workmates lifted the wooden plank covering the hold and reached in to pull the kitten to safety.
The cat was given food and fresh water before Honey took the animal home with her to adopt. She now calls her new pet ‘Cathy.’
Honey said: ‘I was relieved we were able to save the little kitten before it rained or the cat may have died from drowning.’
