Ward 60 residents comments on their ward councillor's performance since being elected
Residents of ward 60 in Lansdowne reflect on the performance of their Democratic Alliance ward councillor, Mark Kleinschmidt. Kleinschmidt was elected in 2016 and previously served a PR councillor for the Democratic Alliance.
Cecil Isaac Metoi is a 63 year homeless man who lives under the Wetton Road bridge.
Sadick Abarder is a 72 year old businessman who has lived in the ward for 26 years.
Lester September is 48 years old and has lived in the ward since birth and is a fourth generation resident.
Julene Ludick is originally from the De Aar in the Northern Cape and is a homeless person living outside the Lansdowne railway station.
Riedwaan Kenny is a muslim cleric at the Lansdowne Mosque and has lived in the ward for all his 61 years.
Ward 60 includes the suburbs of Lansdowne, Wetton, Rondebosch East, Crawford, Garlandale and Sybrandt Park.
