Flash floods sweep through road during storm in Malaysia
This is the moment flash floods swept through a road during a storm in the state of Malacca, Malaysia.
Footage shows the knee-deep muddy deluge filling the streets of a neighbourhood as a resident watched from her inside her garage in Ayer Keroh town on July 5.
The brown water continued to flow as the heavy downpour with strong winds battered the area, preventing cars from passing by as the road was temporarily closed.
The resident said: ‘The water entered our house. Some of our furniture was damaged but it was only minimal. I was relieved the water receded a few hours only after the storm.’
