Robbery has become a thriving business since the coronavirus outbreak in northern India's Rajasthan on July 31. The incident took place in Raisinghnagar in Sri Ganganagar district.

CCTV footage features the aged man standing near the counter while two women wander around him, intending to rob him whole. Within seconds, one of them stands near him, cuts his bag, takes the money, and disappears from the scene without being noticed by anyone.

The retired teacher, identified as Karanpalsingh, went to Punjab National Bank (PNB) to get his cash withdrawn, while two women were already wandering there for 15 minutes, looking for a perfect target. Following this, they kept eyeing him and took away Rs. 1 lakh (USD 1,344), and fled the scene while some cash was still left with him.

After a while, the man realized some cash went missing and alerted the police officials while this incident led to a commotion in the bank. However, an investigation is underway while the cops claim the women may be from the jurisdiction of Padampur Police Station.
