A couple stole rings from a jewelry store in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on February 12. The incident took place in Ghazipur in Lucknow.

CCTV footage witnessing the incident features the couple seated inside a jewelry shop in broad daylight.

Following this, the shopkeeper begins to display some of their precious rings to them.

As he begins to look for more jewelry, the woman grasps some of the rings and instantly wears them. Furthermore, the man does the same when the storekeeper goes behind to look for more ornaments, while the other person in the shop is completely unaware of the situation.

The couple stole rings worth Rs. 2 lakh (USD 2,750) from Ratnarashi Jewellers near Nilgiri square in the city. The shopkeepers discovered the robbery after an inventory check and informed the Ghazipur police station.

Furthermore, an investigation is underway.
