A duo of women wreaked havoc on a police station premises to protest the arrest of a person in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 16. The incident took place in Makronia, located in the Sagar district.

Visuals feature the women entering the police station and raising their voices at the officials. Initially, one of the women accuses the cops of falsely arresting their family member while the other falls to the ground and begins wailing. Later, both the women protest their family member's arrest and sit on the road to stage their retaliation.

The local police were conducting their regular inspection to ensure the proper implementation of the Covid-19 guidelines when they stopped a man for not wearing a mask and roaming on the streets. However, the man refuted the allegations and misbehaved with the officials, following which he fled from the scene.

Following the encounter, the constable registered a case against the man. The officials went to his house to arrest him for his misconduct towards the authorities. However, a duo of women from the family reached the police station and protested his arrest. They said that the man was out to get fuel for his vehicle and protested his arrest.

The women wreaked havoc on the police station premises, following which the cops called for the Nirbhaya team to control the situation. Later, the women evacuated the premises and went home after getting counseled by the authorities.
