A bat that was entangled in a fishing net was cut free by a rescuer in Uthaninuagaon, Odisha, on August 6.

Sasmita Gochhait was called to the scene where the trapped bat was found. She cut the section of the net where the animal was stuck and took it home with her where she used a pair of scissors to set the bat free.

One bat trapped under fishing net and trying to struggle for escape but didn't escaped.

According to Rescuer Sasmita Gochhait one lady informed by some villagers of Uthaninuagaon that one bat trapped under fishing net and trying to escape but the bat didn't. Sasmita went to the place cut the net and brought the trapped bat to her house and cut the fishing net with a scissor and released the bat into air.
