A snake rescuer in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, freed a 5-foot-long cobra entangled in a fishing net.

Footage from April 10 shows Chella delicately remove the snake from the net using a pair of scissors.

The rescue took Chella around 35 minutes and the cobra was later released into the wild.

This is a freedom moment for this 5 feet long male cobra snake after the snake rescuer cuts the fishing net and freed the snake entangled in the net . Snake rescuer named Chella got a call from a local from semmandalam area in Cuddalore city of Tamil Nadu around 6 am on 10th April that a big snake is entangled in the fishing net , the snake was trying his best to come out of the net .
Chella reaches the spot to rescue , the snake was looking tired . Chella cuts the net from scissor from one hand and was holding the tale of the snake from other to rescue it out . it took him around 30-40 minutes to rescue it .
The snake was later left into the forest area
