A biker and a woman were rescued by officials of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) after they were trapped in a flooded path in northern India's Uttarakhand.

This happened when they were trapped in the Bean river located in the Chilla area on August 3.

Visuals showed the officials rescuing the two with them stuck in the heavily-flooded area. Water flowed with a strong current in the area and the officials ensured that the two along with their vehicle were rescued. According to a report, the SDRF officials had actually set out to locate people who had gone missing in the past when they came across this biker and the woman, who were trapped in the flooded area.

The rescue operation was a successful one and the officials also urged the people to be careful while crossing such flooded areas, especially with the rise in water levels of rivers due to heavy rainfall in recent times.
