Wild elephant rescued from deep mud in China
A heartwarming video has emerged from China of villagers rescuing a wild elephant from a muddy pit.
In the footage, filmed during the three-hour rescue in Yunnan Province on Monday, over forty people can be seen using bamboo sticks and pulling ropes tied around the elephant to move it back to the ground.
According to local reports, emergency vets were called but the elephant wasn't seriously injured after the successful rescue.
