In the last leg of her visit to Cape Town, Muna Al Kurd the young vocal palestinian activist addressed the congregation during the Sunday Morning Eucharist at the St George's Cathedral in Cape Town.

Speaking to congregants Muna focussed on the Palestinian Issue and emphasised that the Palestinian issue is a Human Rights Issue and not a religious one.

Part of Muna and her family's home has been occupied by Israeli settlers and they have managed to hold on to their property for over 10 years.

Muna Al Kurd Translation :

" We are always exposed to all methods of oppression and injustice as Palestinians from the Zionist occupation.

When the Zionist occupation wants to fire at me they don't care whether I'm Muslim or Christian. He will fire at me because I'm a Palestinian. There is a large number of Christians in Palestine, which is a must that we all defend them."

Muna was also met by Terry Crawford Brown , a Cape Town based activist who was present the first time Muna's family home was occupied by settlers.
