A scooter rider avoided injuries after being crashed into by a car in eastern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province on October 14 shows a black car smashing into a scooter that ran a red light.
The scooter was smashed into pieces but the rider avoided being hit by the oncoming vehicle.
The car and the scooter were both damaged but no one was injured.
Since the scooter rider ran the red light, he was blamed for the incident.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
