An archway collapsed in eastern China, crushing a passing scooter rider with debris.
A terrifying video filmed in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province on December 6 shows an around 6-metre-high archway suddenly collapsing, burying a passing scooter rider.
Nearby residents carried the woman out of the debris.
According to reports, the scooter rider suffered fractures to her leg. Since she wore a helmet, she was not in life-threatening condition.
The scooter rider was being treated in hospital.
The cause of the collapse is being investigated.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
