A thief beats his victim with a sharp weapon in Salemba, Central Jakarta, Indonesia
A man named Bima (36) became a victim of a stabbing on Jl Salemba Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta. The incident occurred precisely in front of Carolus Hospital.
Senen Police Chief Kompol Ari Susanto said the incident began when the victim came out of Carolus Hospital, then the perpetrator came and immediately slashed him. The incident occurred on Saturday (1/2) at 22.30 WIB.
"The victim just got out of Carolus Hospital, when the exit door was prevented, the perpetrator was then stabbed with a sickle,"
Ari said the victim did not lose any valuables. Based on CCTV monitoring, Ari suspects that the victim and the perpetrator knew each other.
"If you look at the video, because the victim's belongings were not taken, it seems that the victim already knows the perpetrator," he said.
Ari said that his party is currently investigating the case. According to him, there were two perpetrators.
"We are pursuing the perpetrators. The perpetrators could be two people, more than one, because after the stab the perpetrator ran, there was already a friend waiting on the motorbike," said Ari.
As a result of the attack, the victim suffered injuries to the abdomen, left hip and leg due to a fall. The victim was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.
"Currently, the victim has returned home and is being treated for an outpatient," said Ari.
