Council performs rapid u-turn after painting no-parking lines behind benches in Kent, UK
A council has performed a rapid u-turn after painting double yellow 'no parking' lines behind town centre benches in Sheerness, Kent, UK leaving local residents baffled as to how a car could even fit into the narrow gap behind the benches.
The lines appeared on February 11 (shown at the start of footage recorded February 12), but after many unfavourable comments on social media, in what appears to be a very rapid u-turn the lines have today (February 15) been removed.
