Dozens of houses and several public facilities damaged after 6.2 magnitude earthquake in West Pasaman

Local authorities in Indonesia are still recording the number of damaged buildings after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit the province of West Sumatra on Friday (February 25).

Thousands of displaced residents are now living in camps organized by the government after their houses were totally destroyed.

Authorities continue to dig in the rubble of collapsed buildings and mud from landslides for more victims. So far, eight people were killed and over 80 have been injured.
