Hospital porter uses his beautiful voice to "bring cheer" to his patients
A hospital porter has become an unlikely star after being filmed cheering up his patients - by singing to them.
Talented Jonathan Baker, 51, has proven a big hit at his day job by using his beautiful voice to "bring cheer" to his patients.
Mr Baker, who has been giving up his time to help others for more than 25 years, recently won praise for relaxing a terrified 13-month-old baby boy.
The tot arrived at hospital recently with breathing difficulties and was calmed by Mr Baker, just by singing to him.
Mr Baker, of Maidstone, Kent, sang his version of "The Wheels on the Bus" for Oscar Mellor, after his admission to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
His version “The wheels on the trolley” was belted out as he transferred Oscar, from Maidstone, to the Hedgehog children’s ward for treatment.
Parents, admin worker Olivia Arnold, 24, and IT consultant Adam Mellor, 26, were able to see their little boy smile for the first time since he fell ill after complications from a cold.
