Firefighters rescue camel trapped in well in China
Firefighters rescued a camel trapped in a dry well in northwest China.
Video filmed in Altay Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on March 15 shows a firefighter lowered down into the well to tie a rope onto the trapped camel.
The crane on a rescue truck then lifted the camel up and brought it out of the well.
The camel ran away after it was rescued by the firefighters.
According to reports, a worker named Wang found the camel got trapped at the top of a deep well when he was checking the lines.
Since the camel was too heavy to be pulled out and Wang could not find its owner. He called the firefighters for help.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
