A schoolgirl is trying to raise money for children in Ukraine - by singing to punters leaving Cheltenham.

Rosie-May Alcock, eight, decided to take her microphone to the famous racecourse after hearing about the plight of fellow kids in the war.

The youngster, who has been singing since the age of two, did her first gig on Tuesday (15/3) - and raised £306.

And she is returning every day until the end of the meet on Friday (18/3) in the hope of collecting more cash.

Rosie-May has a list of songs she is singing to boozy revellers, including Sparke and Shine from the film Nativity.
