Footage shows animal rescuers separating a python and cobra that were tangled up with each other.
The team carefully separated the two reptiles hiding inside an empty bucket in Samut Prakan province, central Thailand, on October 2.
One of the rescuers said: 'We were not sure why the two animals became tangled. But it looks like they were fighting each other for food.'
Some snakes, including pythons and cobras, engage in cannibalism when they clash over food or territory.
