A shocked factory worker found a wild python hiding behind a water tank in Thailand.

The worker Slam was cleaning his workplace's toilet when he heard strange rustling behind the 5ft-tall structure in Samut Prakan province.

He checked on the tight space between the wall and found the creature slithering so he called the animal rescuers for help.

Footage shows the volunteers peeking through the space while his colleague drag the serpent with a pole.

Slam said: ‘It was my first time seeing a snake here. I have been cleaning for a while when I saw it.

‘If I had not checked underneath it could have attacked me when my guard was down. So scary.'

The rescuers took the snakes with them to be released back into the wild.
