Hundreds of fans of the Indonesian football club Persija Jakarta clashed with riot police during a match on June 5th because of lack of tickets.

The rioting crowd of fans gathered outside the Candrabraga stadium in Bekasi during the Persija match against Sabah FC Club Malaysia.

The police tried to calm the fans but were pelted with stones and bottles of water. After the stadium guardrail collapsed, the police immediately took action by firing tear gas.

In the end the match was delayed a few minutes due to the riots.
