A group of artists behind The Murston Heart project in Sittingbourne, Kent hopes to drive out anti-social behaviour and re-purpose a tiny medieval church and park back to being at the heart of the local community.

Murston All Saints Trust have received Lottery and other funding to undertake repairs to the historic church building and for the construction of several artists units nearby as well as community cafe.

Previously the tiny park and church - which now finds itself surrounded by the Euro Link industrial estate - suffered from frequent vandalism and anti-social behaviour.

Footage captured today (June 11) shows work-in-progress , with building works expected to be completed later this year.
