A prostitute bit off a tourist's EAR then swallowed it whole in front of him.

The s*x worker leapt onto a bus while it was stopped at a set of traffic lights before pouncing on the terrified man in Pattaya, Thailand, on Saturday night.

Shocked passengers watched as the girl in tiny white hot pants and a tight orange top straddled the man and sank her teeth into his right lobe.

Horrifyingly, she then tore off the flesh and swallowed it 'without chewing' as blood spurted over the seats. Terrified tourists on the open-back min-van style bus fled while the man screamed in pain.

Police arrived and arrested Kannika Kamthon, 25, who was dragged raging into a pickup truck to be driven to the station, where she has been held in custody to sober up.

The injured holiday maker, 55, was bandaged on the roadside before being taken to the Pattaya City Hospital for emergency treatment.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Saijai Kamchula said: 'There was notification on the radio of a drunken woman who attacked a tourist at a traffic light intersection. Patrol officers and paramedics hurried to the scene to check the situation.

'There were many people watching the incident, involving Kannika Kamton , a 25-year-old female from Buriram province, wearing a small top and white shorts, in a state of severe intoxication from alcohol.

'Office took control of the attacker, but she kicked the officer with her feet and resisted arrested, so extra help was needed to restrain her.

'In addition, the injured tourist received treatment for his right ear, which was bleeding heavily with part of the flesh missing.'

The alleged victim told police that he was sitting in the minibus when it stopped at a set of red lights and the female attacked boarded 'while she was drunk'.

Officers said she was a prostitute from a nearby gogo bar, where she had been drinking heavily.

The policeman added: 'The perpetrator was very aggressive, and bit the tourist's ear then swallowed it into her stomach indifferently.

'The detained woman will be prosecuted. There were many witnesses and the victim wants to have the woman detained and prosecuted.'

Pattaya is a notorious destination dubbed 'Sin City' on the east coast of Thailand, best known for its round-the-clock adult nightlife with tens of thousands of bars, massage parlors and prostitutes.

The area had been relatively quiet during the pandemic but with travel restrictions now lifted there have been a series of incidents involving holidaymakers including deaths, fights, muggings and drunken behavior.
