Elephant attempts to chase away people at tea estate in northeastern India
An elephant, belonging to a herd, attempted to chase away a person who was taunting it with a stick, at the Avoyajan Tea Estate in northeastern India's Assam.
The incident happened in Abhoyjan Tea Estate in Golaghat district on November 3.
Visuals showed the herd of elephants standing in the area as a group of people, opposite to them, tried to scare away the pachyderms with sticks and slippers in their hands. The people constantly taunted the pachyderms and one of them was then seen attempting to chase them away by marching forward.
Two people from the group were seen running away as the elephant stormed towards them.
