A shaken passenger has revealed how he flew on the same plane a day before it crashed in Nepal.

Emby Tamang was onboard the jet, registration number 9N-ANC, travelling from the Philippines to Pokhara for work on Saturday.

Under 24 hours later, the Yeti Airlines ATR-72 crashed killing 68 people onboard.

Terrified Emby revealed he had goosebumps when he realised he had been sitting on the same plane.

He even took haunting seflies of him next to the aircraft, with the number visible. While footage shows him boarding and onboard the doomed aircraft.

Emby said: 'I was so freaking scared. I had goosebumps realising the plane that crashed was the same one I had been riding the day before.

'I feel like I had a brush with death. If I'd booked a day earlier it would have been me onboard. I'm praying for all the people onboard who lost their lives.'

The jet carrying 72 people had taken off from the capital Kathmandu when it reportedly lost contact with a control tower.

The weather was reportedly clear when the crash occurred.

Rescuers combed through the hillside near the crash site and have so far recovered 68 bodies, including two people believed to be South Korean nationals.

The cause of the accident is still unclear.

Sunday's crash has been labelled the worst aviation disaster in three decades in Nepal, a nation with fickle weather and mountainous areas said to contribute to the accidents.
