Officer workers cut a hole in a wall to save a stray kitten that was stuck inside.

The employees heard the strange meowing sounds on a busy afternoon but decided to pause their tasks and search for the persistent cries in Bangkok, Thailand on February 8.

However, they found out the feline was trapped behind an enclosed wooden space.

Without wasting time, the workers took a cutter from the supply room and poked a square-shaped opening to free the creature.

Footage shows a man using the sharp tool to carefully cut out part of the board. When the hole was done, he gently scooped the unhurt kitten out.

Colleague Prapassorn Phanmalee said: ‘We heard the kitten cry. After about an hour, it didn't stop. So we thought we should do something about it and rescued it together.

'We don't know how the cat was stuck. Maybe it fell from the roof while its mother was away.'

The kitten was adopted into the office where it currently stayed and named Nong by its rescuers.

Prapassorn added: ‘We will raise Nong in the office. It could stay in the garage when we are out and wander inside when there are people.'
