Rescuers search through rubble and use ladder to evacuate survivors in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine
A rocket attack launched by Russia has killed at least three people in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
The strike targeted a five-storey apartment block. The city's acting mayor, Anatoly Kurtev, said that the building was “almost completely destroyed”.
This footage shows the site of the strike at 8 am local time on March 2.
56 units of the emergency services have been deployed, with 202 people currently working on the ground. They are searching for survivors under the rubble and dismantling dangerous parts of the collapsed building.
So far, 11 people have been rescued. Four of them were hospitalised.
Psychologists have assisted 20 people.
Emergency services and other bodies have set up five sents to support those affected by the Russian strike. There, food, clothing, and necessities will be distributed.
The footage was filmed by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SAS).
