Two kittens stuck in a net were rescued after their mum called the neighbours for help.

The rescuers said they found the mother cat perched on a tree near their house in Chachoengsao province, Thailand, wailing incessantly on March 6.

They thought nothing of it, but the stray kept crying, this time near the neighbour's fence, prompting them to search his property with his permission since he was away.

They took a flashlight and found four kittens stuck in a net.

Footage shows the kind residents cutting the net loose to free the baby animals, which were safely reunited with their mum afterwards.
