Villagers help pull baby cow stuck under narrow hole
Villagers helped to release a baby cow stuck in a narrow hole.
A farmer searched for a missing calf and found it had slipped into an unfinished well in Khon Kaen province, Thailand on February 24.
One of his neighbours offered to help but the weight was too heavy for them two until cops on a patrol car passed by the area.
Footage shows the four men pulling the brown cow's front limbs and head to free it from the hole.
Police officer Tchaichana said: ‘We just happened to pass by the area and saw the farmers gathered on the spot. We assisted them and the cow was saved.'
The creature ran back to its mum after being taken out of the hole in the ground.
A police officer marked the hole with a stick and plastic bag as a makeshift warning sign until the hole was repaired.
