Animal rescuers poked a hole into a resident's kitchen to save trapped kittens.

The cat litter was heard crying by the house owner but couldn't find them around the house in Bangkok, Thailand.

Finally the local sought the help of the animal rescue team after three days of the sounds hounding the home on March 25.

Footage shows the dark, narrow space where the creatures were stuck. Using a power drill, the volunteers cut portions of the wooden wall and pulled the kittens one by one.

Rescue worker Anusorn Toon Minor said: ‘We don't know where their mother was, maybe they have fallen from the roof when they were born. The team was relieved the kittens were safe.'

The four kittens were all safe and adopted by the house owner.
