A beauty queen turned heads when she arrived at a pageant - riding a scooter.

Anuthida Sarathana or Ninew to friends and fans, took a motorcycle wearing a crown and silk jumpsuit with shiny beads to travel to the ‘Miss Grand Thailand' at the luxury Swissotel in Bangkok on April 3.

Footage shows the pretty rider arriving at the five-star hotel. Amused onlookers cheered for her as she stopped and climbed down the red Honda Wave.

She was joined by a taxi rider who recorded her as they entered the premises. Ninew came to the venue with the other candidates to register for the pageant.

The motorcycle taxi rider Non Chanon said: ‘Miss Grand Rayong requested to ride my scooter and I agreed. She wanted to drive so I had to ride on the back as a pillion passenger.'

However, Non added that he didn't know the woman was a celebrity until they reached their destination.

He said: ‘I thought she was only going to a party but then I realised she was famous when we arrived.

‘I was embarrassed at first but I am happy that I had the experience of riding with her.'

The final stage of the Miss Grand Thailand 2023 will take place on April 29 at Show DC Hall in Bangkok.
