This plane received a spectacular water salute as a budget airline launched its air cargo service in Thailand.

The Boeing 737-800 BCF aircraft landed at the Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok on April 29, greeted with jets of water to mark the launch of 'Budgetlines Cargo'.

Air Inter Transport Co Ltd, which previously operated small passenger carrier services, has partnered with Bluorbit Logistics Singapore to expand into air freight operations.

The pivot to cargo has been in the works since 2021, with Budgetlines Cargo being established with the acquisition of four Boeing 737-800 BCF planes.

The airline received its operating license from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand in 2022 and was launched this month, with routes including India, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.

The company said it is also planning to support the transport of Thai exports, such as durian, mangoes, and seafood to Asia in the near future.

Interested clients may contact the Budgetlines Cargo office on the fourth floor of Terminal 1 at Don Mueang International Airport or call 097-495-2828.
