Two fierce monitor lizards lock each other in bear hug fight
Two ferocious monitor lizards engaged in an intense bear hug battle in Songkhla Province in Thailand on May 16.
In the captivating video, the formidable creatures can be seen locked in a heated struggle, refusing to yield to their opponent. Despite tumbling into a hole, both lizards maintained their grip on each other, showcasing their remarkable strength and agility.
As the gripping showdown reached its climax, one of the reptiles, measuring an average of 3 feet in length, was eventually brought down to the ground. With the duel settled, both lizards swiftly retreated into the safety of the nearby woods.
Park ranger Khun Phuwadol, who stumbled upon the enthralling scene, shared his excitement, stating, "We were patrolling when we heard rustling in the leaves. We witnessed this incredible battle between the majestic creatures and were truly amazed by their display of strength and resilience."
