A man surfed to work After heavy rain flooded a city in eastern China.
Video filmed in the city of Wuxi in Jiangsu Province on July 20 shows a man named Ding making quite the spectacle as he rode a powered surfboard to work.
The streets submerged under about 1.2 metres of water after a torrential downpour. Ding decided to surf his way through the flooded streets to his office.
Not content with merely getting to his destination, he even indulged in a few show-off moves amidst the deep water, demonstrating his professional surfing skills.
Though he encountered minor missteps along his route, he was always in control, assuring the crowd that there was no danger due to his proficiency in the sport.
