Police have arrested two more thugs amid a crackdown on the criminal 'Outlaws Gang' linked to the gruesome murder of a German businessman in Thailand.

Gang leader Thomas Ginner, 39, from Austria, was caught at a house in Pattaya on July 20. He was grilled on suspicion of 'importing false data into a computer system and fraud' relating to a bar.

Police also raided the home of another suspected member Danny Rohde, 42, from Berlin, who tested positive for illegal drugs. He was taken into custody.

The crackdown comes following the brutal killing of shady German ex-pat Hans Peter Walter Mack, 62, who was found chopped into pieces inside a freezer in Pattaya early this month. He had previously been arrested on suspicion of child sex trafficking before the case mysteriously came to a close.

Deputy National Police Chief Police General Surachate Hakparn, said in a press conference on Friday, July 21, that cops were working to stamp out the Outlaws Gang and arrest its members.

Police General Surachate said: 'From the case of the murder of a German businessman, it was found that there was a gathering of outlaw groups involved in various types of offenses, such as smuggling drugs, human trafficking, and other offences.

'The leader of the Outlaws gang has been arrested for fraud in Pattaya, and members involved in drugs have had their visas revoked.

'Relevant agencies will continue monitoring these groups. If any other offence is found, the prosecution will be carried out until completion of the case. I would like to ask the people and the media to cooperate with us. If any wrongdoing of these groups is found, they can report it at the nearest police station.'

The Pattaya Immigration Bureau said they had seized the passports and visas of two other German gangsters.

Five motorbikes, including four Harley-Davidson motorcycles, were confiscated 'to investigate their legality', police said, adding more Outlaw Gang paraphernalia including leather jackets and leather masks had been seized during the raids.

It comes following the grizzly murder of Hans Peter Walter Mack who had been living with his glamorous and much younger Thai wife Piraya Boonmak, 24, for around five years in Pattaya. He had two sons from his previous wife but amassed a small fortune in Pattaya, where crime and corruption are endemic.

Hans was reported missing on July 5 when he failed to return home from a 'business meeting' involving real estate. His Mercedes-Benz coupe was found several days later, but its interior had been wiped with cleaning solvent allegedly 'to destroy evidence'.

Pakistani national Zahrouk Kareem Uddin, 27, alleged motorbike gang member Olaf Thorsten Brinkmann, 52, and obese German female property agent Petra Christl Grundgreif, 54, have all been arrested over the death. They all deny murder.

In February 2018, Hans was arrested in Pattaya along with a Thai woman Amornrat Kateuy on charges of allegedly prostituting girls under the age of 18. The ex-pat was allegedly put under surveillance by police before being seen with Amornrat taking a 17-year-old girl to a house.

Officers raided the home where they allegedly found the German sitting with the teenager while a shirtless foreigner emerged from a bedroom where the 15-year-old was wrapped only in a towel.

The girl told police that the foreigner had paid her for sexual services and that Amornrat and Hans had taken her there to perform the service.

Police investigated Hans and Amornrat for human trafficking and procuring a sex service provided by an underage girl. The man caught with the girl was charged with sexual activities with a minor.
