A woman discovered wriggling maggots in her takeout meal in southern China.

The disgusting video was filmed in Leshan City in Sichuan Province on September 11.

As the woman named Song prepared to dig into her lunch, maggots were emerging from the cucumber salad on her fried rice.

Song described the experience as nauseating and utterly unexpected. In a remarkable display of restraint, she chose not to make a fuss, file a complaint, or demand an apology from the restaurant.

However, Song said she would never set foot in that eatery again.
